Today, Saturday, is hump day for me in Vegas.  The halfway point.  The middle-roney.  Let’s assess the situation:

Hygiene condition: 50% (need liquids and shower, order not important)

Mental condition: 99% (VEGAS BABY!)

Capital condition: 2% (Meager at best; can someone lend me a $5 chip?)

Mortality: ehhhh….I’d say that’s teetering somewhere between “You’re ok!” and “Stop …just stop.”

And to make things better/worse: IT’S SAINT PATRICK’S DAY!  TOP OF THE MORNING TO YA!  Tonight I’m headed to Todd English’s PUB, which features a deal: 7-second pints.  That it, they time you – and if you can drink a pint of beer in 7-seconds, the beer is free.  That race is going to go all night long, my friends.

The flavor of this Ben & Jerry’s Raspberry Fudge Chunk Greek Frozen Yogurt was pretty good.  The raspberry froyo was sweet although muted in terms of raspberry taste – quite frankly like the raspberry froyo I’d had in the past.  The chocolate chunks were VERY chocolatey.  In fact, FUDGE CHUNK = pieces of chocolate.  That’s all it was.  Raspberry froyo with big ass pieces of chocolate inside.  Interestingly, though, the richness of the dark chocolate helped bring out the raspberry flavor in the froyo.

Strangely, when eating a bite of chocolate chunk and raspberry froyo together, it almost tasted like one of those Whitman’s Sampler chocolates that have raspberry creme inside…mmmmmm. You can almost imagine that you’d just bit into one of these rich chocolates, and inside was all this wonderful raspberry froyo.

Very tasty, very flavorful, and a good combo.  Thumbs up, Ben & Jerry’s.
