MICRO-REVIEW: Anna’s Limited Edition Winter Apple Cookies
Today’s junk food: Anna’s Limited Edition Winter Apple Cookies!!
Anna’s Limited Edition Winter Apple Cookies are the newest flavor in a long line of Anna’s cookies. Anna’s just makes delicious, thin, gingerbread or spiced cookies that go great with tea or coffee. They are delicate and always have the rounded petal shape as seen above.
DO THESE TASTE GOOD? Yessir!
WHY OR WHY NOT? Not a ton to say about these cookies except imagine a nice Snickerdoodle, thin spiced cookie that has a hint of apple flavor. Not overwhelming apple flavor nor does the apple flavor make the cookie tart – Just a crisp fruitiness to the chew and aftertaste. Really solid, well executed cookies.
ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW? The only thing I don’t understand about Anna’s Thins in general – the plastic sleeve they come in has a pull ribbon to open the package. But the pull ribbon isn’t at the top of the sleeve; it’s mounted about 1.5 inches in from the sleeve. Therefore, when the ribbon is pulled it basically segments the sleeve so it’s impossible to have one cookie because several spill out. I’m not complaining since I eat these seven at a time but it’s not the most efficient way to do things.
