Review: Cherry Limeade Peeps & Questions Regarding “Rabbit Rabbit Rabbit”
JFG Nation, it’s March 1, which means when I woke up this morning I said, “Rabbit Rabbit Rabbit” before anything else. Question for you, Nation:
- Do you know what this means?
- Do YOU say Rabbit Rabbit Rabbit? Or is this a little kid thing and I’m a man child?
- Do you know where it comes from (don’t look on Wiki, cheaters)
- If you do say it, and know WHY you say it, have you done this your whole life? When did you start?
Let me know in the comments below!
Today’s junk food: Cherry Limeade Peeps!!
Easter time means Peeps of all flavors! Mystery flavors! Fruit Punch flavors! And now, Cherry Limeade Peeps. Wait, what??
DO THESE TASTE GOOD? No.
WHY OR WHY NOT? Just artificialness all around. The cherry part of the Peep tasted like I was chewing old school cherry Hubba Bubba, but then it dissolved into a quasi squeaky marshmallow flavor. The lime fudge was bright, sweet, and lime-y, but almost in a soap-y way – a little TOO artificial lime-y. Reminded me of lime Runts, but with a weird soapiness. Together, I understood what they were going for: at its best moments, it reminded me of the flavors of a Sno-Cone with lime and cherry syrup; at its worst moments, it was a chemically mess. Avoid.
ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW? Lime fudge is not a thing. Never make it a thing.
PURCHASED AT: Target, Germantown, MD
WHERE FOUND IN STORE? Seasonal aisles in the back of the store.
COST? $2.00.
Sincerely,
The JFG

…what the hell is going on with the Peeps product development team and the insane amount of flavours they have introduced this year? overload of an already pretty crappy item.it’s like they are the conversation hearts of easter.
and yes! rabbit, rabbit, rabbit! I started in elementary school when a classmate told me it was supposed to give me good luck that month…
They should not included the “fudge” in their dipped products. Instead make regular flavored peeps. Remember when Peeps came in fun flavors minus the fudge? Much cheaper and more peeps in a pack
I have never said this thing and do not know why one would do that.
Yes, rabbit rabbit! I have no idea of the origins, but my grandmother taught us to do it when we were kids and I’ve done it ever since, for good luck!
I love the new caramel filled peeps! I hope they become permanent. Yes, Rabbit Rabbit Rabbit! I never heard of this as a child. Most people I know have never heard of it. But about 20 years ago a coworker thought I was the crazy one because I didn’t know about it. It became a fun game. These days we text it to each other for luck. I asked her the origins and she didn’t know but shes from Pennsylvania and said its very common there. Her grandmother taught her as a child.
I’ve never seen this Peeps and I’ve never heard of rabbit x3. I think Mackinac lime fudge could work. I’ve had some funky flavored, but good fudge before.
I say, “bunny, bunny”. I have heard that it originated with Gilda Radner and it is supposed to bring good luck. It also needs to be said before 9 am but I am not sure why.
OK, I did just Google it and I was completely wrong. I did learn something, so thank you. I wish that you would add an edit feature and possibly a delete so when I type something that makes me look foolish, I could erase it.
I don’t know why they have to kitchen sink everything. Leave peeps the hell alone. Marshmallow and SUGAR SUGAR SUGAR is all you need.
Sorry, maybe I am a junk-food Luddite.
Y’all wrong. This shit good af. I mean you’re buying peeps… of course they are going to taste artificial.
