MICRO-REVIEW: Paprika Pringles & WHAT HAPPENED LAST NIGHT WORLD SERIESAAAAAA
JFG, I’m sure we all expected everything we saw last night. We expected to see Kluber get shaky. We expected to see Hendricks pulled early. We expected to see Andrew Miller give up homers. We expected to see Chapman go another 1 1/3 innings. We expected to see Rajai Davis of all people hit a 2-run jack off Chapman. We expected a RAIN EFFING DELAY during the 10th inning. We expected to see the Indians load the bases twice INTENTIONALLY in the top of the 10th. We expected to see Carl Edwards, who I thought was a NASCAR driver, get the first two batters out. We expected Rajai flippin’ Davis to shave a run off to make it 8-7. And then we expected the game to end on a Michael Martinez (who?) groundout at 12:47 in the morning.
One of the best World Series games I’ve ever seen. Happy the Cubs broke their drought. Props to the Indians for being awesome too. Amazing Series. I’m spent. And just effing tired. Let me know what you thought, how you watched the game, whether you had emotions, are you tired too, all that – in the comments below. Cubs fans, Indians fans – sound off. Show me the emotion!
Today’s junk food: Paprika Pringles!!
Paprika Pringles were all over the place in Spain. Paprika flavor, quite frankly, seemed like a popular flavor everywhere – on Lay’s, on random chip brands, etc. But these Paprika Pringles looked the most enticing – plus they came in a really small package – so if I didn’t like them, they were only a small investment.
But you know what? I *DID* like them. Tasted like Barbecue Pringles, but without the smoke. Just the sweet savory taste of paprika on top of a classic Pringle. Nothing more, nothing less. I can see why people like these – very straightforward flavor. Why the heck don’t we have these in the US??? I think consumers would dig this very simple flavor a LOT.
Whatever. I have more thinking about baseball to do. And coffee to drink. Where am I again?
PURCHASED AT: Spain
COST: I think 2 Euro
Sincerely,
The JFG

HELL YEAH CUBS RULE!!!!!!!!!1
I made until the rain delay then had to go to bed (I was recording the game anyway). But I knew they had won as soon as I was woken up by fireworks going off….Go Cubbies!!!
Hands-down my favorite Pringle of all. I’ve been abroad a few times and I always smuggle a can home for the family.
Several years ago I discovered a brand of potato chips at Jungle Jim’s (Cincinnati, OH) called Lorenz. They made paprika flavored chips and I fell in love! After looking at all, this type of flavor isn’t sold in the US because it tastes so similar to BBQ. Personally, I’d rather have paprika over BBQ.
Hm, now I wonder if Jungle Jim’s sells these Pringles!
