Saratoga Kettle Chips, Cinnamon & Brown Sugar Sweet Potatoes: The Money Shot

I’d reviewed Saratoga Kettle Chips before (LOVE THEM), and they recently sent me their new Cinnamon & Brown Sugar Sweet Potatoes variety (above). Sweet potato potato chips are some of my favorite, and this bag was no exception. These were light and crispy, and full of sweet potato flavor. Not as crispy as full-on regular potato kettle chips, these were more earthy, more starchy, and softer.  That said, the blast of cinnamon and brown sugar put the flavor over the top – for people who enjoy sweet potatoes at Thanksgiving loaded with sweet topping, these will really hit the spot for you.  As I ate these, I was indeed reminded of the Fall. Good salt balance too, but these were definitely more sweet (salty) than salty (sweet). Overall, solid chip. Could crush the whole bag. Or maybe I already did.
