Review: Snack Factory Caramel Toffee Pretzel Crisps & The Nosh Show Episode 18 & It’s Official, Fantasy Football is Dead to Me
Well, Junk Food Nation, my fantasy football team finally decided to show up. After six straight weeks of losing and agony and hating myself, my ragtag bunch of players finally decided to band together and score enough points to win. This is despite me thinking that starting Matt Flynn was a stroke of genius (it wasn’t). But it didn’t matter – why? Because friggin’ Peyton Manning threw four TDs to Eric Decker and managed to propel the team below me in the standings into the final playoff spot based off points! Eric Decker’s best performance EVER IN HIS CAREER! MY GOD I CAN’T CATCH A BREAK.
Well, you know what? It’s fine. It’s all good. I mean, it means I can finally stop rooting for individual players and can finally relax and watch games on Sunday. I can finally stop checking my phone for fantasy trades and waiver pickups. I can finally root on my Bills in normal fashion….wait they lost yesterday TOO?? GAAAAAAAAAAAH
When does fantasy baseball start?
Speaking of fantasy baseball, THE NOSH SHOW EPISODE 18 IS OUT TODAY:
This week, “In this episode, we discuss fictional products we’d like made, Jelly Belly milkshakes, a new Ben & Jerry’s flavor, and a product which can’t be named.” Yeah, I lied – the Nosh Show has nothing to do with fantasy baseball.

Today’s junk food: Snack Factory Caramel Toffee Pretzel Crisps!
Oh Snack Factory. I’ve reviewed a bunch of your offerings, and just when I think, “Eh, there’s not much else you can put on a pretzel,” you come out with these: Snack Factory Caramel Toffee Pretzel Crisps. Are you TRYING to make me fat? Don’t answer that.
Snack Factory Caramel Toffee Pretzel Crisps are SF’s new seasonal flavor…I don’t think I’d seen this in seasons past. I dunno – do you think Snack Factory is sort of grasping at straws? In the past, the company had focused on mint to signify the season…is caramel or toffee a winter holiday flavor? Not to me, it ain’t – but I’m not complaining. GET IN ME.
Snack Factory Caramel Toffee Pretzel Crisps are made with plenty of sugar, plenty of carbs, plenty of wheat, milk, tree nuts, and soy. Yeah, this snack is not for the super allergic :/
As Snack Factory put it, these Caramel Toffee Pretzel Crisps are all dipped in caramel and then sprinkled with toffee. The look of these is not QUITE what the bag shows, but it’s close – each flat pretzel crisp is coated all over and the toffee pieces are spackled on there. When I opened the bag, BIG caramel buttery smell came wafting out – sort of reminded me almost of a butterscotch, the butteriness was so distinct. Munch time!
So, these Snack Factory Caramel Toffee Pretzel Crisps were pretty damn good, but honestly, was I surprised? Snack Factory hasn’t really let me down – ever.
The buttery smell translated into extremely buttery taste, as the first munch of these crisps produced a nice buttery caramel flavor. The dark orange-y beige color coating basically was buttery caramel on steroids, as the sweetness filled my mouth with each chew. The salt from the pretzels crisps added a nice salty caramel vibe to it all. And the toffee pieces, while I didn’t really notice any real additional crunch, did provided nice bursts of toffee flavor when crunched.
All in all, this flavor profile wasn’t difficult to comprehend – just a nice, salty caramel crunchy flavor. Very good. Nice work, Snack Factory.
