Junk Food Nation, it’s summer intern time here in DC!  Thousands of young whippersnappers dressed in suits that are too big, wearing shirts that wrinkled and ties that are so bold that they belong on a runway.  They are headed to important lobbying jobs, jobs on the Hill, and jobs down town.  They carry brand new briefcases, wear their government badges proudly, and cluster on the Metro flirting with other interns, dropping phrases like, “Yeah. I’m on the Hill. But I still like to party. I love PBR.” (Actually heard this morning.)

I keed, I keed.  DC has great opportunities, and it’s a wonderful place to spend the summer.  Except for the humidity.  Good God, the summer hasn’t really even started and it’s already a swamp outside.

To conclude this post, I’d like to say (1) I’m thinking of all those out in Moore, OK, (2) don’t forget to enter my Star Wars / Pringles giveaway (3) What the heck was Dan Gilbert wearing last night, and (4) Otto Porter, future Washington Wizard.  Say it with me now.

Happy happy Monday, So Good Readers.  Just your friendly neighborhood Junk Food Guy here. A while back, over on JunkFoodGuy.com, I reviewed a couple of the new Cracker Jack’D items that I found at Walgreens – new, re-designed, on-the-go snacks from the makers of CrackerJack.  I remember being back and forth on them…some I liked a lot, some were just ok, some had caffeine, some didn’t.

Well, the folks at Cracker Jack’D decided they wanted my take on the entire line of their new “Snacks with Impact” line, and I came home to find this box:
